Tourism Paradise - IHLARA

Ihlara gorge (which actually is called the Peristrema Gorge) can be entered from Ihlara, high up on the rocks. Climb down some flights of stairs and then, on the level of the stream of the Melendiz Suyu, that runs the full length of the canyon, first visit some churches hewn in the rocks, and then follow the stream. Beware: there is just one exit at Belisirma, about halfway, else you are in for the duration, all the way to Selime, some four hours of walking.
